106, 107 & 108 Gold-Copper Areas
106, 107 and 108 exploration areas are located in Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, Sargaz-Mata metalogenic sub zone (One of the most promising massive sulfide Copper and Gold mineralization zones in Iran)
106 Exploration Area This exploration Area is the second largest reserves after sargaz mine in Sargaz-Mota sub zone. Field Exploration consisting of geological mapping (in the scale of 1/1000), geophysical survey (IP-RS), trench digging and surface sampling. Several indexes with high grade of Cu and Au were explored in the reconnaissance stage (Table 1, Fig 1). Pillow lava is the main Rock forming in 106 area. Au and Cu mineralizations, presumably are Massive Sulfide type (Besshi /type) (Fig. 2). Also ancient mining in the form of slag in large volume were observed in this area

This area is located about 9 km south of 106 area. There is a good potential for the Cu mineralization in this area. Exploration activities including Geophysical survey, trench )digging and core drilling Figs 3 &4)

108 Exploration Area
This area is located about 6.5 km southwest of 106 area. There is a good potential for the Cu and Au Mineralization with recognition of five indexes (S1 to S5). Field Explorations and reconnaissance indicate high grade of Au with the grade of up to 2.5 ppm Fig.5
